How important is it to compare colors, observe the quality and strength
of incident light, rather than rely on your mind's eye? How does writing
out detailed descriptions help your drawings come to life? Please fine a reference image/article on line and post a link in support of your comment.
It is important to compare colors when determining the differences between the hue and values in a color scheme. writing out detailed descriptions of of what you have drawn or plan to draw is helpful when trying to bring texture to life as well with shading and lighting, it also helps out your audience.
